Chairman of Eastern Wealth Trading Company Limited and Aung Shwe Thee Co., Prior to his role as Secretary General, Mr. Aung Kyi Soe served as Joint Secretary General of UMFCCI (2013-2016), Central Executive Committee Member (2011-2012), and Executive Committee Member (2009-2010).
Moreover, he was acting Joint Secretary of Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2000 - 2010), Secretary (2010 - 2012), Executive Committee Member (2012-2016).
He paved his way to senior leadership through participation in many committees including the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) loans, SME law drafting, Human Resources Development, Standardization, Member Affairs and International relations and he has assisted in the development of Trade & Services Association and State / regional Chambers. He is also promoting TVET activities for the development of skilled work force.
In his private capacity he is the Managing Director of Myanmar Liquefied Petroleum Gas Group and Myanmar Oxygen Corporation and several enterprises engaged in the construction sector, and Developing Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones in Myanmar. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
